In 1956, Stan Musial enjoyed another outstanding season at plate for the St. Louis Cardinals, batting .310 and topping the National League with 109 RBI. The Donora Greyhound was the hero to a generation of youngsters who spent summer days at Busch Stadium, eager to watch their idol on the field. No doubt you can imagine kids' excitement when receiving a postcard in the mail featuring Stan the Man, pictured posed in his batting stance on this 1956 team-issued postcard. Fortunately for modern collectors the offered card was never mailed. Available here in gorgeous PSA 9 Mint condition is Musial's '56 Cardinals postcard. It stands as the only mint copy on record with PSA, with none ranking higher. Stan the Man was a three-time World Series Champion, three-time NL MVP, and an all-time great. You can set your collection apart from the rest by bringing home this 63-year-old mint relic from baseball's Golden Age.
